Mandela Day 2019

Once again, our ladies were truly blessed on Mandela Day.

Reddam House Helderfontein invited 30 ladies to a tea party, The Bearing Man Group Doornfontein invited 30 ladies to lunch and Abacus Insurance treated the ladies who stayed behind to massages and manicures.

Reddam House and Abacus Insurance are old friends of the Home and we thank them for always spoiling our ladies.

The Bearing Man Group has just come on board and we thank them for choosing our Home as a beneficiary and look forward to a lasting friendship.

In Memory of Trudy Betty Perumal

The 30th June 2019 was a bittersweet occasion for Monica Armugam and family as it was the first anniversary of their mother's passing.

The family decided to honour their late mom, Trudy Betty Perumal's memory by treating our residents to an absolutely delicious lunch and tea. Our ladies enjoyed the tasty food and awesome company so much that they placed orders for breyani, ensuring that Monica and family return to the Home.

Thank you Monica and family for spoiling our ladies. We're certain your mom is smiling down at all of you with pride.

GFH SLIPPER DAY - 10 MAY 2019

A few of our residents felt that as they're so blessed, they'd like to pay it forward and bless other less fortunate souls. They purchased wristbands, donned their slippers and went to Wimpy Bedfordview to claim their free coffee.

Little did they know that they were about to blessed once again. Their was a group from Reach for a Dream Foundation and Air Mauritius at Wimpy and an employee from Reach for a Dream Foundation (who wished to remain anonymous) bought breakfast for our ladies and they received lovely gift bags from Air Mauritius. We'd like to thank these generous souls for making our residents day.
